+School Signups

The school details post can be found here. Keep in mind that the school is really meant as a bridge for CR - taking the test can be assumed, classes are generally assumed, though there may be IC projects from time to time to play around with - really as long as you work things out with your fellow players to try and be on the same page in who'd they'd know and would have a chance to make more outside CR with depending on how classes are set up, just have fun with it?

The purpose of this post is information gathering. What we need to know from student characters is what their "scores" would be on the test -- during the semester, whenever new characters are interested in joining, they'd take the test whenever they express an interest in attending and then get sorted in. It's implied that the scores are possibly adjusted with the new "school year", so it's open for anyone to update whether or not there would have been improvement.

Please reply to this post with:

(Please note that this is for definite student characters - if the character doesn't want to be a student and won't ever be involved, please don't sign them up! And one comment per character, please!

If you have any questions, please direct them here - this post is for signups only. Thank you.)

+Current Roster

AND FOR THE OPEN CLASSES:

Just indicate which ones you'd be interested in if your character is adult and not part of the actual school (and possibly what they would share with the other "students" if they wanted. AND CURRENT STUDENTS can weigh in on it too, to keep it all in one spot):

Updating for '11-'12 school year

Student's name: Sokka
Age: 17
Score:
Reading/Writing: 250 - Although high, it could be improved if he applied himself.
Math: 330 - Sokka is naturally gifted with mathematics and is already starting to comprehend complex mathematics.
General Science: 340 - His favorite subject, this is where Sokka applies himself the most.
General attitude: Although Sokka is becoming more of a model student, school remains pretty low on his priorities. He's engaged now, so he'll be a bit more insistent at sitting near Suki in class, though he'll be better behaved and not distracted. He still won't do his homework, but he understands the material extremely well and will do very well on tests, in spite of not studying.
World sharing: He does this more than he likes to outside of class, so he doesn't even attend this class.

Kurt's year at the school would have been his senior year back home. So he pretty much considers himself a high school graduate.

Name: Kurt Wagner
Age: 18
Magic: He'd like to learn magic, more along the lines of healing magic, as well as wind, water, and earth. Unfortunately he pretty much fails at functionally learning it because he takes his headphones everywhere.
Music: He doesn't really have any musical proficiency, which would become quickly obvious once he attended. It's a combination of a lack of natural talent and his fingers being awkward for most instruments.
World Sharing: Bits about Germany and New York, but don't expect him to show up to an actual World Sharing class.

- He'll attend the open classes regularly, but he won't be doing the 'grade school' stuff now that he is 'graduated'. He's still a pretty good student, though he may skip class more often now.

Student's name: Kurt Wagner
Age: 18
Score: Reading Writing - 370
Math - 330
General Science - 280
General attitude: Kurt is more or less a model student, although he may be something of a class clown. He takes school seriously, so he'll have good attendance and get his homework done on time. He's generally a pretty friendly guy and open to getting to know his teachers and students.
World sharing: He'll be plenty willing to talk about New York and Germany. Mutant stuff, not so much.

Student's name: Minato Arisato
Age: 19
Score:
Around ~360 for all. He's well-rounded and applies himself and was at the top of his class back home.
General attitude: Very quiet; he doesn't tend to raise his hand often but always has the right answer when called on. He also will whisper answers to friends sitting around him if they ask him. Sometimes he falls asleep in class and often naps during breaks. Despite this, he always turns in homework neatly and on time and aces tests.
World sharing: Nothing beyond normal Earth stuff, and again he'd only share if called on.

Student's Name: Alexis Castle
Age: 17
Score: ~350 for reading/writing, ~325 for the others. She's a smart one, our girl.
General attitude: Willing to study. Willing to listen. Polite. Hard-working. Would love to tutor.
World sharing: Pretty much anything about a Completely Normal New York City. Alexis has no secrets.

Student's name: Leon D.S. Geeste
Age: 15 going on 16
Score: Reading/Writing, Math, General Science -- very high up there for all three, ~390-400. He's a genius and very book smart even though I fail at showing that.
General attitude: He's pretty respectful in the classroom, since the school is voluntary in every way, but his boredom will show if they stick to "remedial" subjects for too long. He will ignore or hold some mild disdain for outright troublemakers in class, and help fellow students with homework if asked.
World sharing: He's from an underdeveloped planet and was granted special permissions to study on Earth. He's from far into the future and aliens are acknowledged and recognized. He might try to explain symbology, but it's not something that anyone else can really do; the best comparison would be Fullmetal Alchemist's alchemy without the Law of Equivalent Exchange, without the compound/item creation aspect. :|;

Student's name: Keiichi Maebara
Age: 17
Score: Reading/Writing: 320, Math: 300, General Science: 350
General attitude: Just your average student. Keiichi is quite open and ready to chat with his classmates, he's also prone to be friendly with the teachers though remaining respectful. Regarding studies, at class he mostly only seems to pay half attention, same when he's taking a test. Though his grades are good it's obvious he's going on mostly by stuff he knows already and not bothering to study too much.
World sharing: Keiichi's world is nothing special... Or so it seems by what he talks about. He's more than willing to talk about Hinamizawa and its traditions and quirks, even about the Sonozaki family. But he won't be saying a word about certain details of his world (such as that "time looped", Rika was murdered God knows how many times, they got psycho...). However he probably has told the teachers a bit about the Hinamizawa syndrome so they would know how to react if he ever gets strange (like sending him away from the rest of the kids or something).

Student's name: Kouki Wakahisa
Age: 17
Score: Reading/Writing - 300~
Math - 250~
General Science - 280~
General attitude: Mostly a hard working student, probably due to Naoya urging him to do well. He can answer questions the best he can if called upon and will do his homework.
World sharing: He can talk about Tokyo and maybe some things about Japan, but preferably keeping the Lockdown to himself.

Student's Name: Xion
Age: ... 15? Erm. Almost 2? Uh.
Score: Reading/Writing: 350
Math: 130
Science: 80

Xion has years and years of catch up to do where maths and sciences are concerned, and despite being in school previously, her marks are still likely to be low in those areas. Her reading/writing will be exceptionally high by comparison, though.
General attitude: Incredibly polite and eager to learn, though quite shy and probably unlikely to volunteer answers in math and science classes. She'd put her all into it, though, so she'd always have her homework done, and well. And she'd be nice to goddamn everybody because she's Xion. A model student, low math/science marks aside. She might pay a little less attention in class if it was a subject she didn't understand, though, since she'd feel bad for not getting it.
World sharing: She'd be happy to describe The World That Never Was, as well as other worlds she's visited (Destiny Islands, Halloween Town, Agrabah, Beast's Castle, Wonderland). However, she wouldn't share any information at all about what life was actually like for her there, other than a very vague mention that her job was to fight, and she'd become visibly upset were she pressed on the issue.

Student's name: Elicia Hughes
Age: 5
Score: (Aaa, she JUST started school in her world, poor dear. She does have a little experience in reading pre-schooling, though... Just a guesstimate here:)
Reading/Writing: 100
Math: 40-50
General Science: 40
General attitude: She will always do her very, very best and always pay attention! She's totally a teacher's pet, too; she'll do anything to keep teachers from not hating her. :|b
World sharing: Uuuum, she'll probably bring up alchemy and what it can do! After than that, talk in excess about what her mother tells her about and how her dad is awesome (because it's true).

Student's name: Ion
Age: 14
Score:
Reading/Writing: 380. Reading ancient texts and the score nearly every day of your life will do that to you.
Math: 300.
General Science: 275.
General attitude: Always smiling and interested in what they're learning. Never speaks out of turn and always willing to help other students. You know, a nerd! He will also be absent a lot because he gets sick like every other week.
World sharing: He'll probably share a little bit in regards to the Score, which is essentially the Planet's memory from creation to destruction and can tell the future of the planet. He might even explain a little bit about the Order of Lorelei and efforts being made to reduce humanity's dependance on the Score. He will, however, be leaving out all of the business with Van and the replicas and the fact that he was the leader of the aforementioned religious organization.

Student's name: Kairi
Age: By Luceti standards, she's 16.
Score: Reading/Writing I'd say around maybe like 330, since canonly we know she's written letters and there was a library in Radiant Garden she spent time in. Math and Science both are probably around 280 or 290, just given the fact she's had that bit of extra time at home going to school while her boys are off fighting.
General attitude: Kairi is generally a good student. Sometimes she'll get caught up in the antics of Sora/Riku/Roxas, but for the most part she encourages them to knock it off and takes really good notes. She's happy to volunteer for various things, and she's good at helping out other students. She likes being proud of her work, so her homework is always done on time and good quality.
World sharing: Despite the fact she doesn't have nearly as much experience, she'd share what she could about world-traveling and the like.

Student's name: Roxas
Age: ...if you add in Luceti time, physically he's about 16/17, but more like he's...four? Damn Nobodies.
Score: Probably averaging about 250 in everything considering he's had Luceti experience, plus the fact he shares memories and knowledge with Sora that have helped him learn, but there are still things he's not sure of. His reading/writing and math might fluctuate a little bit because he's been using those basic skills since he was "born", but besides what he's learned since being in Luceti and Sora's shared memories, his science knowledge is limited and upper-maths are as well.
General attitude: Usually Roxas is pretty quiet and likes sitting in the back of the room and paying attention from there, but if you put him next to Sora or Hayner, there will be notes passed and jabs traded more than likely. Unlike Sora, Roxas is a bit more hesitant to share his work with people and all, but he doesn't mind helping out occasionally if he can. He's very curious about what's being taught, and he absorbs quite a bit of it even if he gets distracted sometimes. Sometimes his homework doesn't make sense, but usually he gets by.
World sharing: He's fine with sharing about world experience and traveling and the properties of light, but Nobody-sharing-time is not likely.

Student's name: Shiki Misaki
Age: ~16
Score: Reading/Writing-250, Math-280, General Science-220.
General attitude: Shiki's more than likely going to be that one girl that the teacher has to repeatedly ask to be quiet. She loves to talk, and she loves to socialize, but if she does get scolded repeatedly she'll eventually shut up. Her homework is usually done, but don't be surprised if there are little doodles all over the margins. She respects her teachers and she's pretty nice to just about everybody in the class. Sometimes though during lectures she can be caught not paying attention, but instead making new designs for her clothing line.
World sharing: Probably not much. There's no real easy way of saying "btw I died and played a game to come back." If it's not something Neku would share, she's more than likely not going to share either. However, she's more than happy to talk about her life pre-death and what Shibuya was like.

Student's name: Freyjadour Falenas
Age: 16
Score: about 250 in both reading/writing and math. Maybe 100 in sciences.
General attitude: Very attentive and polite. He’ll be friendly and helpful to his classmates and teachers. Something of a model student.
World sharing: He’d be willing to share info about his world, in particular the Queendom of Falena, as long as he isn’t required to get too indepth about recent happenings. There will be awkward if that happens.

Wrong account, but!
Student's name: Katie McCoy (flicker_flash)
Age: 9
Score: Reading/Writing 320, Math 120, General Science maybe 80. She's prone to being bad with anything that involves logic and defining the world in scientific terms.
General attitude: Very polite, smiles a lot, will ask a lot of questions about everything, and will find every excuse under the sun not to partake in the above-mentioned things she's bad at. They make her cringe. Also, prone to being very confusing and misleading at best, downright
World sharing: A lot of very, very false ones. In her world, apparently cars eat people and thunderstorms are attracted to mothers and accountants are the worst things ever. But eventually, some particular students may realise she actually just comes from an Earth. England, to be precise.
